Engineering Challenge Camp

Build, program, and compete with real robots

WEEKS:  1  2  3  4  5  6

Students design, build, and program robots while learning mechanical design, electronics basics, and teamwork.

Students will acquire:

  • Experience building and programming robots

  • Understanding basic mechanical systems

  • An introduction to electronics and sensors

  • Confidence turning ideas into physical machines

Beginners receive structured support, while experienced students are encouraged to explore deeper features.

Campers tackle engineering problems through prototyping, movement testing, and friendly Olympic-style competitions.

LEGO Mindstorms robotics platform used in STEM summer engineering camp
VEX Robotics system used in middle and high school STEM summer robotics camp
Arduino microcontroller platform used for robotics and engineering projects in STEM summer camp
Onshape CAD software used for robot design and engineering projects in STEM summer camp
Tinkercad 3D design software used for robotics prototyping in STEM summer camp

Great for:  Curious builders, aspiring engineers, and kids who love designing and testing robots

Supervised at all times in educator-led small groups.​
